...And They Lived Happily Ever After...

I have named this post aptly that for it has been a long journey - Arlee and I have been together for 9 years and it is definitely a dream come true for us to finally tie the knot next week on 11.11.11. Thank heavens for our wedding planner tita Rita Neri, putting together this affair has been nothing but smooth and stress-free.

Just thought we'd share with you our prenuptial photos taken by Paelo Pedrajas and styled by our good friend Patrick Galang. Shot in Camp John Hay, Baguio City.

We have exactly 9 days to go before our big day. Still can't believe it's finally happening. May everyone's November be as sweet and dreamy as ours. :)

Cosmopolitan Cover and Other Recent Features

My dress paired with Topshop lace leotards. Styled by my good friend and the super talented Alyanna Martinez.

Metro magazine September 2010's Breakthrough Designers of The Decade. This shoot was so much fun. All my sissies were there. So proud of my sweeties! (Model Melanie on the far left wears my Fashion Week Holiday 2010 finale ensemble).

Czarina Villa sweater in Sense & Style Aug. 2010.

DISCLAIMER: Wear spanx under this dress. I do. (Because I have the appetite of a boy in puberty).

The layered tulle skirt again. But this time styled by my sissy: the amazing, amazing Patrick Galang.

Thank you Cosmopolitan, Preview, Sense & Style, Metro and Mega for the love. x

R.I.P. Alexander McQueen

Alexander McQueen is gone. What a tragic news to wake up to on a Friday morning. I went through fashion school looking up to him, being inspired by him. His pieces are always unconventional, his shows theatrical and delightfully shocking. There will never be another designer as brilliant as him. Not in this lifetime. Not in a million years. I can't even imagine the fashion world without him even at this point. I've always dreamed how I would approach him in case I bump into him in London if I go this year (God willing). Now I'll never know. Nevertheless, he has touched my life through his work and I am deeply saddened by his passing.

Tuesday, February 9, 2010's Designer Sample Sale BOOTH #26

Woke up earlier than usual but was still late for my meeting time with Eric, Martin and Patrick. Luckily, EDSA was wide open Saturday morning. Whew!

It's almost 10 AM and we're rushing to get the booth ready.

Good morning bitches! :)

Puffy, puffy in the morning!

Patrick Galang rocking his gray Palabok scarf.

Veejay Floresca in a 12Twelve neck wrap.

Our 2nd display: Eric delos Santos slashed dress, my black scarf and Martin's garter belt (sold with a jersey dress).

Thank you my angel for helping us man the booth (the day before he flew back to the US no less).

And of course, thank YOU and Preview magazine for making us a part of this event!

Spontaneous Tagaytay

I'm lucky to have barkadas who are as spontaneous as I am. One bulalo craving and --poof!--Tagaytay here we come!

And wherelse to go but Leslie's for that craving! (With 2 of my ultimate barkadas since I was like 10 years old: Lottie and May.)

Wow, I don't think they've ever cleaned their chandeliers since they opened a bazillion years ago.

Of course I can't live without dessert...

Isn't that YUMMMM?! My client Chesca Reyes introduced me to Starbucks' cinnamon swirl a couple of years back and I got so hooked!

OK, this dude is alright but a clown freaks me out (with May, my sista responsible for my cinnamon swirl relapse!)

Then a few nights ago after meeting up with the designer sissies at Mr. Jones, we decided to drive up to Tagaytay for some cold air. LMAO!

Martin's twitpic of us having arrozcaldos, puto and chicharon because everything else was closed at 1:20 AM.

You gotta love spontaneous trips. :)
